Warm weather this weekend gave us the chance to put up a new route, a cruisy and well protected climb that will be an excellent warm up for the crag. It is to the right (east) of RAD Crack, route 9 in the Ya Ha Crag Mini Guide. It is perhaps a touch easier than other 5.8 routes at the crag but we thought calling it 5.7 would be a bit too much of a sandbag, even for us. It will be a bit dirty until wind and melt gets a chance to help clean it up. Enjoy!
Its a Gouda 5.8 . . . 10 bolts, 21m
Climb the easy slab up to the corner, then follow ledges to the bottom of a faint dihedral. Stem, press, and pull on excellent jugs to the anchor.
